Anna simply has a ‘heart of gold’. Since the age of 14 she has volunteered at the Wellspring Centre in Stockport and after changing her own preconceptions about how people become homeless, she has worked to engage others to help. Anna became pregnant at 15, and after a hard start to the pregnancy, she decided that she was going to keep her baby which resulted in her having to move school. Despite medical problems during pregnancy, she says that her baby girl is the best thing that ever happened to her ever. Now at Aquinas College as a young mum doing her A Levels, she has grown to be an example to others, inspiring people to make a difference, running appeals, and providing essential items for people without a home. Eventually, her life ambition would to build a complex either for pregnant teenagers or homeless people.
