The right to study, to work, to have a job, to earn money and so support our families are all central to the dignity of each individual. Human beings deserve access to education, a fair wage and proper working conditions. In a world where money is seemingly more important than the rights of workers and their happiness, we have to be the ones to come together, in solidarity, to speak up for one another and make a real difference in the world around us.

Ideas for action
IDEA: Do something simple to support struggling students or young workers
Design an action to reach out to students or workers. Are any students struggling in your school/college? How can you support them? Where do you see young workers who might be stressed or overwhelmed? Could you commit to chatting to them or finding out how you can make their day a bit brighter?
IDEA: Start a student or young workers group with YCW, in your school or Parish
Get together with other students or workers in your parish or school and create a YCW group to become part of a nationwide network of young people wanting to change the world: http://www.ycwimpact.com/
IDEA: Campaign for a fair living wage
