AYSHA AHMED

Aysha is 18 and a student at Ursuline High School, Wimbledon. A young boy spat in her face as an attack on her religious beliefs. This made her want to break barriers between people. She has actively and independently worked to build a better understanding among different groups of people, especially the often-misunderstood concepts of Islam and how this affects the conflicts we witness in the world today. She has actively sought to promote peace among different faiths in her school and the wider community. Working in social outreach and within her school, she has remained committed to the Catholic ethos of her Ursuline school and has been able to share her own beliefs as a member of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community to build an atmosphere of unity in the community by identifying the many values that we all share in common. Aisha Ahmad is from Ursuline High School, Wimbledon
